This has been an unusually wet summer and we are not complaining as typically at this time of year our well is dry, the rangeland shrivelled and the trees parched.
It’s no surprise then that the horses are in ample flesh. Often they do not come up for breakfast oats at all because they have such lush forage to enjoy, so when they do make an appearance, it makes the day extra fine.
