Yes, it was, indeed, a hard Winter. We all made it through! And now it is Spring and the landscape little by little is becoming fringed with green. What a delight for the horses, to enjoy fresh greens!
Altamiro, Capaz, Sedutor, Fidalgo, Legado, Ousado, Silvestre, Interessado and Destemido, our bachelors continue living here with us at Ravenseyrie. Zorita, Bella, Belina, Fada, Pinoteia, Esperanda, Altavida and Rija continue to live on lovely range down in Tehkummah. And I continue to be inspired by all of them, painting them frequently, especially during this Chinese Year of the Horse.
A sampling of winter images that I’ve been meaning to post, but was so preoccupied with all the hardships we endured that I am only now getting to it. I trust I will be following up soon with Spring images.
All is well with the Ravenseyrie horses in both of our preserves. Feeling grateful for this!
